To provide an electronic bulletin board which makes non-electric power display possible by constituting a display section by an electrophoretic display element having a display memory characteristic and makes simultaneous rewriting display at remote multipoints possible through a personal computer or network.
The information display surface is constituted by the electrophoretic display element having the display memory characteristic, by which the data display from the personal computer is made possible and the writing and erasing of display contents can be rapidly carried out. Also, the simultaneous rewriting at the remote multipoints and the rewriting display through the network are possible and further the structure capable of maintaining the information display state without electric power is obtained.
