This electronic cam controller is provided with: a signal generation part 10 for generating a clock signal c based on main axial pulses a, b of an encoder 3; a slave axial pulse generation part 20 for counting a clock signal c to a direction shown by a direction signal d, and for performing frequency division to make a frequency division rate variable, and for outputting it as a slave axial pulse f; and a frequency division rate control part 30 for controlling the frequency division rate of the slave axial pulse generation part 20 based on the clock signal c and the direction signal d. The frequency division rate control part 30 controls the frequency division rate of the slave axial pulse generation part 20 based on the rate of main axial moving quantity to slave axial moving quantity included in cam curve data K preliminarily recorded in a memory part 32.
