Abstract:
To provide an electronic camera for displaying a battery remainder, without having to provide a new dedicated display part.
When the power source of an electronic camera body is supplied, a system controller 28 displays photographic information on a shutter speed, etc., as an initial state on a monochrome liquid crystal display (information LCD) 27. Then, when a switching switch 33 is turned on, the voltage value of power supplied from a battery pack 50 is detected, the battery remainder of the pack 50 is calculated from this detected voltage value and previously given battery characteristic information and a control signal is outputted to the display (information LCD) 27, and this calculated battery remainder of the pack 50 is displayed.
