PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily realize performance and a function which have been difficult to realize so far with a normal electronic camera while linking mutually the electronic camera and a center by connecting the electronic camera and the center by a telecommunication line.
SOLUTION: This imaging system in which the electronic camera 20 used to pick up an object is connected to a center 30 that performs image processing through the telecommunication line, generates a first image based on an image obtained by picking up the object with the electronic camera 20, and transmits the first image and information representing processing contents with respect to the image to the center 30. The center 30 performs image composition of the first image, the electronic camera 20 receives image composition results transmitted from the center 30, the received processing results are displayed on an LCD, and a second image whose number of pixels is more than that of pixels of an image corresponding to the first image is transmitted to the center 30 based on the displayed contents.
