To extract only a designated image and output the image to an external printer when a desired image is printed out by photographing/recording an image received by an image-pickup element at a desired timing, setting a printing condition of the recorded image and registering the printing conditions.

A control section automatically sets printing conditions to a desired image or by the designation of the user based on a print image output means 110 and outputs image data, together with the printing condition registered in a printing condition registration list in the case of print-out. When a print image designation button is depressed, a print-out designation discrimination means 111 of the print image output means 110 sets printing conditions designation flag which is set in a DRAM, and a printing conditions setting means 112 sequentially displays a printing condition menu superimposed on an image displayed on a liquid crystal display device. Then the selected printing condition is coded and stored in various printing conditions area of a DRAM 14 with the printing condition designation flag.
