An image sensor 16 captures a scene. A GPS device 52 and a sub CPU 44 measure a current position. A main CPU 26 creates a first image representing the scene captured by the image sensor 16 in response to a first instruction, and creates a second image including a first partial image related to the position measured by the GPS device 52 and the sub CPU 44 in response to a second instruction. Then, the main CPU 26 assigns position information indicating the position measured by the GPS device 52 and the sub CPU 44 to each of the first image and the second image.
