The image sensors capture the image of a subject and outputs the image. The face detection unit detects the face of the subject from the image. The photographing condition acquisition unit determines the photographing condition when performing beauty correction processing for correcting the face in the image. The setting unit sets the control condition of flash light in the operation mode of performing beauty correction processing, based on the photographing condition. The correction unit performs the beauty correction processing for the image captured depending on the control condition, in the operation mode.
