Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an electronic camera capable of simultaneous image pickup without a time lag.
CONSTITUTION: A shutter control circuit 36 gives a drive signal synchronously with a release signal 128 to a shutter 38 to expose a silver salt camera 1. A simultaneous image pickup control circuit 27 of an electronic camera 2 gives release signals 126, 152 to a synchronizing signal generator 20 and a controller 25. The synchronizing signal generator 20 gives a drive signal 112 synchronously with the release signal 126 to a solid-state image pickup element NO independently of a reference oscillator 20b. The controller 25 receiving the release signal 152 commands start of image pickup. The synchronizing signal generator 20 gives a synchronization drive clock 114 started from a prescribed position of the synchronizing signal to the solid-state image pickup element 10 when the drive signal 112 closes the electronic shutter to read a video signal. The drive signal 112 independent of the reference oscillator 20b and the release signal 152 for simultaneous image pickup are fed to the electronic shutter.
