To prevent foreign matters from being imprinted without providing a camera with a member for removing the foreign matters.

The electronic camera is equipped with a shutter blade group 3 capable of moving in a direction orthogonal to a photographing optical axis between a closing position where it covers an aperture 2a and an opening position where it makes the aperture 2a open, a blade driving mechanism 5 supporting a supporting part on one end side of a plurality of blades and driving the blade group 3 between the closing position and the opening position, and a light transmitting member 201 provided between an imaging device and the aperture. The outside part of an effective transmitting area 100a of the member 201 is exposed at least on one side near a blade supporting part out of four sides of the aperture 2a when the member 201 is seen through the aperture from the opening of a lens mount in a state where the blade group 3 is at the opening position, and the aperture 2a is formed so that the exposure at the outside part on the one side may be larger than the exposure on other three sides.
