Abstract:
To provide an electronic camera and an imaging method for reducing noise in high-sensitivity shooting.
A sensor 15 in the electronic camera 10 images an object and outputs an image signal. AFETG 16 amplifies the image signal output from the sensor 15. An amplification processing unit 44 amplifies the image signal (amplified image signal) amplified by AFETG 16. Before the amplification by the amplification processing unit 44, a noise reduction processing unit 40 in a control unit 30 reduces the noise in the amplified image signal amplified by AFETG 16.
