PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of the processing to take orders by providing a memory where the number of another electronic cash register number is stored, a switch to inform the electronic cash register that ordering is terminated, and an output part which indicates it to an employee that the switch can be depressed.
CONSTITUTION: An order is simultaneously received by two electronic cash registers 1, and switches 6 on electronic cash registers 1 whose display parts 7 a message to permit depression of switches is displayed on are depressed then. Order contents are transmitted as data to a controller 3 by depression of switches 6, and a message of wait for switch depression is displayed. Switch depression is reported to another electronic cash register 2. The message to permit switch depression is displayed on this electronic cash register. Thus, plural orders are inputted at a time.
