Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent improper use of a coupon ticket by subtracting the number of commodities corresponding to identification code when said code indicated on the coupon ticket is inputted and prohibiting discounting when the number reduced to 0. CONSTITUTION:The code of a coupon is stored in a registering buffer 44 in an RAM4 and the amount of money of the coupon is stored in a register 45. Then, a manufacturer code buffer is searched to judge whether inputted manufacturer code is registered or not. If registered, the counter of a memory area corresponding to the code is made -1. If counted value of the counter 42 is not minus, the amount of money of the coupon is displayed on a display 5, and the amount of money of the coupon is printed by a printer 6. Further, the amount of money of coupon stored in the register 45 is subtracted from the total amount of money of the memory area 42. Error processing is performed when counted valu of the counter 42 reduced to minus.
