The electronic circuit has a 1st conductive layer 31b, a 2nd conductive layer 33b, and a 3rd conductive layer 36 laminated on a substrate 30 with insulating films (32 and 34); and the 2nd conductive layer 33b has lower conductivity than the 1st conductive layer 31b and 3rd conductive layer 36, the 3rd conductive layer 36 is applied with a signal potential (signal line potential VS) cyclically varying, and the 2nd conductive layer 33b is applied with a DC or AC potential (CS potential VCS) which varies at longer intervals than a potential (pixel potential VP) applied to the conductive layer 31b.
