Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a suppression of occurring frequency of a communication fault at a receiver side when digital data are transmitted via an antenna including a resonance circuit by an amplitude modulation.
SOLUTION: A shaping waveform applicator 61 inputs a first pulse signal 22 corresponding to transmitted data output from a transmitted data output unit 12, and applies a signal wave corresponding to a second pulse signal 71 waveform shaped from the first pulse signal 22 to a modulation amplifier 13. A carrier 22 applied to a base of a transistor of the amplifier 13 is amplitude-modulated by a signal wave corresponding to the second pulse signal 71 applied to its emitter to an amplitude modulated wave 72 strengthened at a modulated part of the amplitude. The wave 72 is supplied to the antenna 14 including a resonance circuit via its collector, and transmitted as an electromagnetic wave 73 from the antenna 14. For example, this electronic circuit can be applied to an R/W (reader/writer) unit of a non-contact IC card system.
