PURPOSE: To prevent rust or operational malfunction of components in a combustion chamber by introducing no rain into the chamber even if the resin is invaded into a smoke stack.
CONSTITUTION: The incinerator comprises a combustion chamber 4 for containing a material to be incinerated, combustion burners 5, 6 for radiating combustion flames into the chamber 4, a smoke stack 20 provided at an upper part of the chamber 4 to communicate with the chamber 4, an air supply cylinder 23 so provided in the chamber 4 that an upper opening 21 is disposed in a lower opening 22 of the stack 20, and a blower 26 for supplying the air to the cylinder 23 to communicate with the cylinder 23, wherein a traylike water shut-off plate 30 is provided on an outer periphery of the cylinder 23.
