To make constitution so as to allow generation of cogging torque of minimum limit, in an electronic commutating motor.
A rotor which can rotate with a rotor shaft serving as the center and a slotted stator which surrounds the periphery of the rotor are provided. The stator is provided with a slot-opening part, stator teeth are separated from each other by these slot-opening parts. The stator tooth has one or a plurality of auxiliary slots at the place of the end part, having a width corresponding to the face the width radially opposite to each other to the rotor. The magnetic pole of the rotor is separated by the boundary of the magnetic pole, deviating circumferentially from the rotor lengthwise direction. The magnetic pole boundary 11 is inclined over the length of the rotor 4 by a portion of the length either completely whole or half of a slot pitch 13, with respect to axially extending direction of the rotor shaft 12.
