Title:
ELECTRONIC COMPONENT, ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTRONIC COMPONENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012023220
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a thin electrochemical cell excellent in performance at a low cost.

An electric double layer capacitor 1 has a package in which a bottom plate 8 formed of a resin sheet material, a frame 4, an upper surface plate 5, and a sealing plate 6 are laminated, and a cavity 15 is formed. Electrodes 3a, 3b formed on the surface of metal plates 2a, 2b together with an electrolyte are enclosed in the cavity 15 face to face with a prescribed distance kept between. The metal plates 2a, 2b pass through the cavity 15 and reach the outside of the package to form connection terminals for surface mounting. The electrodes 3a, 3b and the through portion of the metal plates 2a, 2b are formed flush with each other, and the electric double layer capacitor 1 can be thereby thinned. Since a metal plate coated with an electrode active material is stamped by press working to form the electrodes 3a, 3b, labor to install the electrodes on a collector is saved, and the distance between the electrodes can be accurately set.
