To provide an electronic component carrier, which can carry plate-like electronic components kept in a constant posture.

The electronic component carrier includes a paper tape 2 where component holes 10 for receiving plate-like electronic components 40 and feed holes 20 for feeding are formed respectively with constant intervals and a driving mechanism for engaging with the feed holes 20 of the paper tape 2 to carry the paper tape 2. The component hole 10 has a pair of contact rims 11, 12 in contact with both side faces 41, 42 of the plate-like electronic component 40. Recers paces 13, 14 are formed from the respective contact rims 11, 12. The plate-like electronic component 40 is carried while being kept in a constant posture by frictional coupling with the contact rims 11, 12 of the component hole 10. Using the spur spaces 13, 14 allows the component 40 to be easily removed from the component hole 10.
