Abstract:
To suppress vibration of a carrier tape when a cover tape is peeled.SOLUTION: An electronic component packaging body 10 includes: a carrier tape 20 having a plurality of storage recesses 21 aligned at intervals in a longitudinal direction X; a plurality of electronic components 50 stored in the plurality of storage recesses 21; a cover tape 30 covering the plurality of storage recesses 21; and a joint part 40 for joining the carrier tape 20 and the cover tape 30. In the carrier tape 20, when a part between the two storage recesses 21 adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction X is defined as an intermediate part 22, the joint part 40 has a first joint part 41 for joining a part adjacent to the storage recesses 21 in a width direction Y and the cover tape 30, and a second joint part 42 for joining a part adjacent to the intermediate part 22 in the width direction Y and toe cover tape 30. Regarding a joint strength between the carrier tape 20 and the cover tape 30 per unit length in the longitudinal direction X, the joint strength of the second joint part 42 is lower than that of the first joint part 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
