Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component that uses isotropic magnetic material and anisotropic magnetic material, makes it possible to gain high effective permeability, and includes a coil built-in.SOLUTION: An electronic component 1 comprises a main body and a coil 30. The main body includes insulator layers 11 to 14 made from anisotropic magnetic material, an inner magnetic path 18 made from isotropic magnetic material, and an outer magnetic path 19 made from isotropic magnetic material. The insulator layers 12 and 13 cover an upper surface S8 and a lower surface S9 of the coil 30 from the z-axis direction. The magnetic path 18 and the outer magnetic path 19 are adjacent to each other in a direction orthogonal to the z-axis direction. An easy magnetization direction of the anisotropic magnetic material used for the insulation layers 11 to 14 is orthogonal to the z-axis direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
