Abstract:

To provide an electronic component capable of suppressing occurrence of migration even in a case where an external electrode includes a conductive resin layer.SOLUTION: An element body 3 has a lateral face 3a arranged so as to configure a mounting surface. An external electrode 5 has an electrode part 5a arranged on the lateral face 3a. A plurality of internal electrodes 7 and 9 are arranged in the element body 3. A conductor layer 21 is arranged on the lateral face 3a separately from the electrode part 5a. The electrode part 5a has a second electrode layer E2 containing a plurality of metal particles and resin. The conductor layer 21 contains a conductive material that is less likely to occur migration than metal particles contained in the second electrode layer E2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
