Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component which enables improvement of heat radiation performance.SOLUTION: An electronic component having a resistor is provided. The electronic component includes an insulation substrate having a first surface and a second surface facing each other. A caved area limiting a protruding part is formed on the first surface of the insulation substrate and the resistor is disposed on the protruding part. The resistor is self-aligned with the protruding part. The resistor includes a first portion, a second portion, and an intermediate part between the first portion and the second portion. A first external electrode electrically connected with the first portion of the resistor and a second external electrode electrically connected with the second portion of the resistor are disposed at the electronic component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
