Abstract:

PURPOSE: To load a control program of an optional length by using 1st - 3rd control programs to load an operating system.

CONSTITUTION: When an electronic computer is started, the 1st control program 14 where a 1st loading means is described is carried out. Then the data of a fixed length on a 2nd control program 15 where a 2nd loading means is described is loaded from an external storage 13. Then the processing is transferred to the 2nd loading means for the execution of the program 15, and the data of a variable length on a 3rd control program 16 where a 3rd loading means is described is loaded from the storage 13. The processing is transferred to the 3rd loading means for the execution of the program 16, and an operating system 17 is loaded from the storage 13. Then the processing is transferred to the system 17. In such a constitution, a control program of an optional size can be loaded.
