Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device capable of coping with failure of software which determines whether to stop reset in a microcontroller, and capable of maintaining an actuator as a control target in a safe state even when the reset is stopped.SOLUTION: An electronic control device comprises a microcontroller 10 and a monitor IC 20. When an actuator has transitioned to a safe state due to output of an interruption signal from the monitor IC 20, the microcontroller 10 stops output of a reset request signal to the monitor IC 20 and returns to normal control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
