Abstract:
To provide an electronic control device which can continue suitable travel of a vehicle by a motor for vehicle travel even if abnormality occurs in an arithmetic unit which controls an inverter and a relay.SOLUTION: An electronic control device 10 comprises a first arithmetic unit 13 and a second arithmetic unit 14. Even if abnormality occurs in the first arithmetic unit 13 and a first relay control signal for switching from the first arithmetic unit 13 to first and third system main relays SMR1, SMR 3 to a conduction state is not outputted, the first and third system main relays SMR1, SMR 3 can maintain a conduction state by a second relay control signal outputted from the second arithmetic unit 14. When the first arithmetic unit 13 is abnormal, the second arithmetic unit 14 outputs an instruction signal for controlling an inverter 30 instead of the first arithmetic unit 13. By inverter control by the second arithmetic unit 14, a vehicle can continue travel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
