Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make normal operation in an engine maintainable, by making fundamental injection pulse width compensable so as to become the value con formable to a driving condition when this driving condition for an internal combustion engine comes beyond the setting range of a two-dimensional map to the preset fundamental injection pulse width.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of driving an internal combustion engine, fundamental injection pulse width is searched for with the two-dimensional map prestored in a memory device, at a control circuit 11, by suction pipe internal pressure to be detected at a pressure sensor 8 and engine speed to be found out of output of a crank angle sensor 16. And, when at least one side of the engine speed and the suction pipe internal pressure is beyond the setting range of this map, making it refer to a boundary value of the setting range. And, when at least one side of the engine speed and the suction pipe internal pressure is beyond the setting range and fundamental injection pulse width of the boundary value in the setting range is searched, this fundamental injection pulse width is compensated with the specified compensation value, thereby making it so as to control a fuel injection valve 12.
