Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control unit capable of dissipating heat of heating components effectively without increasing the number of components, and to provide an electric power steering device including the same.SOLUTION: In a housing (an ECU base 40, a plate 50) for housing a circuit board 30 surface mounting a heating element, i.e., a FET31, heat dissipation parts 41, 51 for dissipating heat of the FET31 by coming into contact therewith, and correction parts 42, 52 for correcting the warp of the circuit board 30 are provided. The heat dissipation parts 41, 51 are brought into contact with the FET31 via a heat conductive member, i.e., TIM34, and insulating layers 41b, 51b. Furthermore, the correction parts 42, 52 are fixed by means of a screw 70 so as to press the circuit board 30 in the thickness direction via insulating layers 42b, 52b.
