To prevent the delay of equipment control by giving the output of a Hall element to an after-processing circuit as quickly as possible while eliminating wasteful converting processing for a magnetic sensitive non-contact throttle sensor.
This electronic controlled throttle valve device comprises a throttle position sensor consisting of a magnet 31 provided on a throttle valve shaft 40, and the Hall element whose output is changed with the rotational displacement of the magnet 31. The Hall element is built in one sensor chip 6 together with an amplifying circuit. In a control unit separate from the sensor chip 6, there are provided an A/D conversion circuit 50 (51) for converting the analog output of the Hall element output via the amplifying circuit into a digital signal and a digital processing circuit 54 (55) for performing the temperature compensation and zero-span adjustment of the Hall element on a digital basis.
