Abstract:
To enable dictionary information of an electronic device to be changed further flexibly.SOLUTION: The electronic device comprises: a storage unit for storing first dictionary information with which a plurality of keywords are associated; an acceptance unit for accepting an inputted first keyword; a retrieval unit for retrieving a keyword identical or similar to the first keyword from the first dictionary information; a communication control unit for transmitting, to a server device, a transmission request of dictionary information including the first keyword that the number of times in which the identical or similar keyword is not retrieved from the first dictionary information satisfies a predetermined condition; and an installation unit for causing the storage unit to store second dictionary information transmitted from the server device in response to the transmission request.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
