PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device and software keyboard setup program, which allow for appropriately setting a level of pressing force that triggers determination that a software key of a software keyboard displayed on a touch panel was pressed.SOLUTION: An MFP includes a touch panel, pressing force detection means configured to detect pressing force applied on the touch panel, and determination pressing force setting means configured to set a determination pressing force used for determining that a software key of a software keyboard displayed on the touch panel was pressed. The determination pressing force setting means sets the determination pressing force in S52 based on pressing force detected by the pressing force detection means in S51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
