Abstract:

To provide an FET whose mobility is improved largely in comparison with conventional organic FETs.

A conductive polymer acquires a rigidity by bonding to both its ends functional groups for bonding them selectively to specific metals, and by including it in a molecular nanotube made of cyclodextrin. In the FET, one or more structures constitute its channel in each of which its source and drain electrodes are connected directly by the conductive polymer used as a simple substance.
