To provide an electronic device of improved electrical connection reliability than before even if a circuit board is inserted/removed.
In an insert hole of a housing, a slider is provided which can be displaced in depth direction under external force. A protruding part of a terminal has a contact part supported by the slider on the side deeper than a contact point part, and a portion on the tip end side including the contact part is tapered, with a tip end being above a support surface of the slider under a condition disengaged from the slider. The slider is arranged on a deeper side relative to each contact point part, and is pushed by the circuit board when inserting, to be displaced from an initial position to a board insert completion position at which the contact point part contacts to an electrode. At the initial position, the contact part is supported under a condition in which the protruding part is pushed and expanded, and the contact point part is separated from a corresponding electrode formation surface of the circuit board. At the board insert completion position, the contact part disengages from the slider, and the terminal supplies a reactive force generated by spring deformation to the circuit board. A restoring means returns the slider to the initial position when the circuit board is pulled out.
