Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment of which open/closed state of a cover can be correctly determined with more reliability.SOLUTION: A NFC reader 10, which has detection function for detecting a clock signal having a frequency of about 13.56Mhz and communication function for communicating with a smartphone in compliance with NFC standards, is provided on a first cover 6. An antenna 28, which outputs a clock signal for transmission which can be detected by detection function of the NFC reader 10, is provided on a housing 3. In a closed state of the cover 6, a clearance between the NFC reader 10 and the antenna 28 is equal to or less than a prescribed distance, and detection of the clock signal for transmission by detection function of the NFC reader 10 is possible. On the other hand, in an open state of the first cover 6, the clearance between the NFC reader 10 and the antenna 28 is wider than the prescribed distance, and detection of the clock signal for transmission by detection function of the NFC reader 10 is impossible.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
