Abstract:
To provide a magnetic fluid heat engine capable of stably circulating a magnetic fluid even when heat input from a main heat source is small, while miniaturizing or simplifying magnetic field application means.SOLUTION: A magnetic fluid heat engine comprises a magnetic fluid, a circulation channel of the magnetic fluid, a magnetic field application part arranged in the middle of the circulation channel, a heat receiving part and a non-heat receiving part arranged in the magnetic field application part, a main heat source connected to the heat receiving part, an auxiliary heat source connected to the heat receiving part, and magnetic field application means for applying a magnetic field to the magnetic field application part. The circulation channel is folded back in the magnetic field application part, one of the magnetic poles of the magnetic field application means is arranged so as to be opposed to a folded top of the circulation channel, a heat receiving part is arranged on one side of the reciprocating channels generated by folding back the circulation channel as well as a non-heat receiving part is arranged on the other side thereof, and the auxiliary heat source is arranged in a gap between the circulation channels generated by folding back the circulation channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
