Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of reducing power consumption depending on the circumstances when inputting in a handwriting manner on the electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus includes: character recognition means that recognizes plural candidate characters based on coordinates of a touch detected on a touch panel; means that determines a movement of a housing including the touch panel; and means that, when a movement of the housing is determined as larger than a predetermined amount, searches for a combination of the plural candidate characters recognized by the character recognition means on a word dictionary and outputs a candidate character string based on the search result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7A
