Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope unit in which water feed is made efficiently without disturbing the operation of the endoscope.
SOLUTION: A water feeder 20 is connected to a processor via a signal cable 104. A VTR/water feeding control switch button 16A (first switch button) commonly used as a switch to feed water together with a switch to record images by a video recorder 160 is equipped on a video endoscope 10. When the first switch button is pressed down, a control signal to inform of that the first switch button is operated is transmitted from the processor 100 to the water feeder 20 via a signal cable 104. The water feeder 20 actuates a rotary pump 20 by receiving a control signal to transmit liquid in a tank 40 to a water feeding channel 13 for water jet on the video endoscope 10.
