Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satisfactory endoscope observation picture by directly connecting the plate-like shield member of a connector and the cylindrical shield member of a flexible connecting pipe through a lead wire so as to obtain a reliable shield effect with respect to radiation noise from external noise and a signal cable. SOLUTION: In a connector 6 which is surrounded by an electrically insulated plastic housing, a conductive metallic shield plate 17 is incorporated along its inner surface. The plate 17 is electrically connected with the shield of a signal cable 12. Then, an conductive metallic connecting cylinder 18 integrally connected to the shield plate 17 and a conductive metallic member constituting a flexible connecting pipe 5 are electrically directly connected through a lead wire 20. In addition, conductive metallic connecting mouthpieces 7 to 10 and 21 projectingly formed at a connector 6 are electrically reliably connected to the plate 17 to prevent noise from entering and leaving the connector 6 from outside.
