Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form four corners of a door into rounded edges each provided with a curved surface by a method wherein a metal plate of development form where a nearly square cutout is provided in each of its four corners, each peripheral side of the metal plate is bent into a curved surface, and a curved metal corner is provided to each cutout as connected to the peripheral side.
SOLUTION: The door 3 of an electric equipment housing case 1 is formed of a metal plate of development form where a cutout 3a is provided in each of its four corners. Each peripheral side 3b of the door 3 is bent into a curved surface by a general-purpose bender or the like. A curved metal corner member 3c bent by a die is joined to each of the cutouts 3a by means such as welding. By this setup, the four corners of the door 3 are formed into rounded edges each provided with a curved surface.
