Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform connection confirmation of a camera body and an accessory, and to perform switching to a second communication system without performing communication by a first communication system.SOLUTION: A camera microcomputer 101 changes the first data, being sent from the camera body 100 to an accessory 200, from H level to L level, while bringing a clock signal to H level in a first communication system, and then changes from L level to H level. The camera microcomputer detects change in the L level and H level of second data received from the accessory depending on the level change of the first data, and detects whether or not the accessory was connected normally with the camera body based on the detection results, and whether or not the accessory is corresponding to a second communication system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
