Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of more efficiently performing transition to a power saving mode and its power control method.
SOLUTION: When the power is turned on, a suspend timer and a sampling timer are operated. When key touch is performed, whether an inputted key is valid or invalid is judged. When 30 seconds of sampling time elapses, valid and invalid count values counted in a touch interruption processing routine 75 are compared with each other. When sampling by every 30 seconds is performed and five minutes elapses as no valid input is performed, a suspend processing is performed and the electronic equipment is transited to the power saving mode.
