To solve the following problem: in the case of the conventional electronic equipment with a stereoscopic viewer, it takes long time to switch between 2D display (ordinary display) and 3D display (stereoscopic display), and also it is not good in portability because it is difficult to thin the electronic equipment.
The 2D display and the 3D display are achieved by superposing and arranging a concave lens and a convex lens having the same curvature as the concave lens on a surface of a display element when performing the 2D display, and arranging the convex lens at a part distant from the concave lens by a fixed distance when performing the 3D display. Since the convex lens is held on the display element when performing the 2D display, the electronic equipment with a 3D display function, which is thin and excellent in portability, is obtained.
