To provide electronic equipment in which damage of FPC which is derived outside through the opening of a bracket can securely be prevented.
A slit which is in an almost H shape is formed in a protection sheet 12 made of synthetic resin. Parts divided with the slit as a border line are set to be a first protection sheet 12A and a second protection sheet 12B. A rectangular opening 10 is formed at the base of a bracket 7 made of a metal plate. The first protection sheet 12A bonded to the inner base of the bracket 7 is extended to an inner middle by covering one end edge of the opening 10. The second protection sheet 12B bonded to the outer surface of the bracket 7 is extended to the inner middle by covering the other end edge of the opening 10. A mechanism main body for DVD 2 is fixed inside the bracket 7. FPC9 connected to the mechanism main body 2 is derived outside the bracket 7 through a part between free ends of the first and second protection sheets 12A and 12B. The tip is connected to a connector 6a of a main substrate 6 arranged in an inner base part of a cabinet 1.
