To provide a collapsible type electronic equipment, more surely eliminating looseness of a hinge part rotatably connecting two casings even when there is tolerance in manufacture of the respective components provided in the electronic equipment.

In this collapsible electronic equipment, two casings are connected to each other by a rotatable hinge member 116. The hinge member includes: a hinge body part 138 passed through the interior of a connecting part between the casings; and an engagement part 132 provided on the forward end of the hinge body and locked in the connecting part. The engagement part is shaped like a slope increased in width as it goes from the base end to the tip, and it has elasticity. In this case, the engagement part has a slit 140 in the axial direction.
