To provide electronic equipment by which a precise measurement result of a crystal oscillator is obtained using a measurement device and an investigation work, a unit body evaluation work, and an inspection work of the crystal oscillator are performed efficiently.
After a test mode is set, an input side of a switch is switched to a pulse output line side. A start signal is transmitted to a digital oscilloscope connected to an audio output terminal. The digital oscilloscope receives the start signal, and starts measurement of a reference time. An internal clock signal is counted by a counter. When the counter counts it for a prescribed period of time, a pulse signal is generated and transmitted to the digital oscilloscope via the audio output terminal. In the digital oscilloscope, the performance of the crystal oscillator is evaluated by calculating errors of the time between the start signal and the pulse signal with respect to the reference time.
