Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a laser printer capable of setting an inhibition mode where in set data on a set item included in plural operation modes can not be changed.
CONSTITUTION: When a lock mode is selected, a lock state setting processing is performed and the current lock mode is displayed (S110) on the basis of flag data on a lock flag stored in a RAM; and the number of an operation mode in two layers is set to a 2nd layer pointer value (S111). When a key '↑'or '↓' is operated, the 2nd layer pointer value is increased or decreased and the operation mode name of the next or previous 2nd layer is displayed (S112-S118). When a set key is operated (S119: Yes), '*' is additionally displayed (S121) in addition to the display of the lock mode name which is newly set.
