Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of the maintenance operation of the electronic equipment which needs to be maintained and inspected.
CONSTITUTION: A paper money processing device consists of a memory 154 which is stored with an error code corresponding to the number of events generated in one period for maintenance and inspection, a memory 155 which is stored with an error code corresponding to the number of all events generated from the point of time when the device is placed in operation to the maintenance and inspection, and a CPU 151 which converts the error codes and the frequencies of generation stored in the memories 154 and 155 into daily frequencies of generation and compares them by the error codes to specify abnormality (event) of an abrupt increase from last inspection to current inspection. Thus, the paper money processing device decide a maintenance and inspection items which should be given top priority.
