Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an FPC board for connection at a biaxial hinge with a simple and inexpensive configuration.
SOLUTION: In the electronic equipment, first and second enclosures are connected by a biaxial hinge structure 1 having two rotary shafts 2 and 3 that orthogonally cross each other, and circuit substrates that are incorporated into the enclosures are connected by an FPC board 7. A cylindrical protection member 8 that covers the rotary shaft 3 so that the rotary shaft 3 can be covered in a peripheral direction is fitted to the rotary shaft 3 that is located at the gap between the first and second enclosures out of the two rotary shafts 2 and 3. The protection member 8 is in structure that a strip of sheet member is rounded so that both the ends are overlapped and can be expanded or contracted by the elastic deformation of the sheet member.
