PURPOSE: To output a possible train time in a departure point and to give the information of an accurate train schedule by retrieving and outputting time data nearest to subsequent time data obtained by adding a necessary time to the departure time among departure time data.

CONSTITUTION: A present time is extracted from a clock circuit 12, the discrimination of routes is simultaneously shown and a data retrieval key decides which of a first or second line is selected. In the case of a first route, most earliest and possible train time data is retrieved from time table data in a data memory 4 in accordance with the present time. At that time, the necessary time data to the station of the first route is added to the preset time and the possible departure time is selected. The possible train time in the station 2 is retrieved and displayed by using the earliest departure time of display data in the first route and the necessary time data to the station of the second route. Step retrieval is executed before and behind the time displayed at present in terms of one hour, and the departure time is displayed. Thus, only the possible departure time can automatically be retrieved and displayed.
