Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overcharge of a secondary battery by simple circuit constitution, and to utilize a total generated current effectively, by installing a driving-status control means for controlling a driving means, so that the consumption current of load is increased when a charging status estimated by a charging-status estimation means indicates the possibility of the over charge of the secondary battery. SOLUTION: A charge-discharge control section 6 controls the charging and discharging of a secondary battery 2 so that potential difference between a voltage value VSS at the other end of a capacitor 4 and a voltage VDD at one end of the secondary battery reaches the rated voltage of a system control section 5. The residual capacity of the secondary battery 2 is detected, and a detecting value is transmitted to the system control section 5. The system control section 5 compares residual quantity and a preset first threshold value, and all segments of a liquid-crystal panel 9 are brought to an on state during a time when residual quantity exceeds the first threshold value (during the tendency of overcharge). Accordingly, a generated current (a charging battery) is reduced the overcharge of the secondary battery is prevented, and the whole quantity of generation can be utilized effectively.
