Abstract:
PURPOSE: To read rapidly and easily a target word in retrieval through an electronic equipment with a dictionarylike function simplifying the retrieval, by displaying a character input by a character input key and spelling following it with the both sectioned.
CONSTITUTION: Memory unit ROM is stored with information regarding words in the order of an array of characters and keyboard KB is provided with character input keys AK; and spelling following an input character is sequentially read out from ROM in response to the key input from a key AK and displayed. In this case, the input character and spelling following it are displayed being sectioned, so that a target word of retrieval can be read out easily and rapidly.
